san diego elopement

Intimate Elopement Photographers | Sunset Cliffs San Diego

We love weddings… all weddings. But there’s just something so damn good about photographing elopements. The intimacy, the vulnerability, the way two people are willing to open up and just fall into each other when there’s not a hundred pairs of eyes on them. We just love it!

When Brittany’s email came through and I saw the words Sunset Cliffs… I may have squealed a bit. We are definitely fans of the coast, the cliffs and of the clouds that normally come with San Diego. And although it was super short lived, none of the above disappointed.

These two got ready together in a cute, tiny hotel room before we literally rushed our asses down to Sunset Cliffs. The light was insanely gorgeous while they said I Do and spent a little time loving on each other while the sun set.

Although we normally love spending a good chunk of time with our couples… take a peek below and you’ll see that short and sweet works too!

Intimate San Diego Wedding Photographer | Laura + Aaron

From our first FaceTime I could tell Laura + Aaron were a little quirky but super simple. They weren't looking for anything big, they didn't want to be the center of attention but images were crazy important to Laura. So these two opted for a tiny ceremony in an adorable chapel and a yummy dinner with all their favorite people. They nixed all the normal traditions and formalities but made extra time to run around the cliffs with us during sunset. (Our favorite!!)

Their day was dreamy, super chill and full of love!

San Diego Sunset Cliffs Elopement | Grace + Tim

I don't know how in the world we got so lucky to meet these two? How we've managed to be a part of every major life moment they have shared in the last couple years? But I do know one thing... we are two of the luckiest people in the world!!! Because of these two I see love differently, I imagine love differently and that is a life changer. They are now a part of our life story and we're super lucky to be a part of theirs.

PS - at the bottom of this post there is also a super huge slide show made at the request of Tim's mom.  It's a tear jerker!
